Never leave grown-ups unattended after a child's b/d party....
Hug the guests...
..And be sure to have plenty of cake to go around...just in case someone pops up *uninvited*......
Something I want to add to this story. My ex-co-worker and I got in to it because he thought he could just take and give the kitties away...at two weeks old!. He's all..."Well, I rescued them!" I'm all- "No you asshole, you stole them! " When I asked him who was going to feed the kitties, he sez, "I'll just put some milk down, they'll eat when they get hungry!" Then I told him what KMR (formula) cost and that kept him off my back for a couple weeks. 2 weeks later (kitties 4 wks) he was back at it and I told him if he didn't shut the f**k up he'd never see the kitties again, and he wouldn't, so he didn't! LOL... It is funny looking back on that, but not so funny when it was happening.
Here's some pictures of them as the began to explore .................
"I wouldn't go in there if I were you! demms stanky!"
warning: by big sis "Ladybug"
"Okay...We'll just play hide-and-seek"... (u no can see meeee!)
Or mebbe, *TAG*!..."Moooommy....her iz tetchin meeeeee!"
I came across some of the early pics of the kitties I raised. My co-worker brought them to me because he *assumed* the mom had abandoned them because he hadn't seen her. The moment I saw them, I knew he was wrong, and wanted to keel him for taking them. I couldn't talk him into returning them (for just a while longer until they got a little bigger) so I became their new mom and they were a handful. I had to come home at lunch time to feed them, too. It took 45 minutes to feed all four and by that time, the first one was mewing again. I fell in love with the littlest boy, who we kept and named Mittens. This pic was taken about a week after I got them. According to the vet they were 3 weeks old in this pic. Much younger than I had thought. Maybe it was all the floof! I will add more as I go---sucky dial-up!
