Yikes. I got up yesterday and could not get on line. My Nix card was broken. this involved many phone calls and a trip to Branson. Ever thing is back except sound. Haven't figured out which line it is yet. Omg What a hassle, but at least I have gotten this far.

Ah just spoke to the financial aid department...... well since I'm part time all my grants will be cut in half( hey who can afford full time these days anyway) but my loan amount will stay the same, so I may after all be able to do one class or even two, I got a loan for $3500 so thats already one class there and with the grants I may be able to squeeze in two hmm so now I'm in debt by like 10 ,000 hehe I was thinking as long as I'm in school I can hold off the payments * evil smile* hmm what I may end up doing depending on how much my grants are cut by is just take one class and use the other half of what's left over to pay off my credit card, not a bad choice in my book. Monthly payments are $59 and saving 59 a month would be a big help plus they're making more off me just doing my monthly payments so better to get it out the way, may also help my credit score too. lets see how everything turns out , I need to do a batch of paper work.. grr! the messed up thing is my parents qualify for ah $22,000 loan.... sigh , no way they can afford to keep up with those payments too plus I don't want them getting involved anymore, if there is going to be debt I'd prefer myself to be the one to suffer it

No doubt by now you have all heard the story about Tim McLean, the poor young man who was murdered on a Greyhound bus up here in Canada. More gruesome details come out every day. It's obvious that the murderer has severe mental and/or emotional problems and I do feel sorry for him.
Today in the news, there are two news stories related to this tragedy and I can hardly stomach to read about either one. The first one is about that misguided activist group, PETA. The second one is about those nutcase Phelps folks from the US. I don't wish to give them any more room on my vox other than a simple link. You can go read the stories for yourselves.
I have absolutely no idea how these people came to the decisions they did. Well, I suppose I can imagine for PETA simply by knowing what they've been capable of in the past, but even for them the timing sure does stink. I can't even imagine how the victim's family and friends are dealing with this tragedy to begin with, let alone how they must feel about these latest stories.
Based on recent experiences, I’ve concluded it’s a bad move to designate your brand new ringtone to just your girlfriend because if you suddenly decide to set it as the default, your friends will all wonder why you’ve started answering their calls addressing them as “babe”.
Still, it’s not as bad as being at the grocery store and hearing Salt N Pepa’s Let’s Talk About Sex start playing an aisle over, immediately followed by the sound of a cell phone flipping open and a teenage girl chirping “Hi daddy!”
